2007Updated the Skye page with new texts and photos. 15.12.2007 22 Skyes were entered in Stockholm Nordic Winner show. Simo was Best of Breed and finished International Championship! He also placed 3rd in Terrier Group! Simo's offspring had a good day too: Lucas (Finnsky Jaguar) was 3rd best male. Sweet Ruby (Finnsky Jewel) was 2nd best bitch with CAC! Both kids got Nordic Junior Winner-titles. A splendid result for youngsters of only ten months of age!  (Photo: Per Undén) 08.12.2007 In the Finnish Winner show Simo was Best male-2 and Dixy Best bitch-3 in a field of 27 Skyes. 24.11.2007 Pictures of Simo's offspring here. 17.11.2007 Simo was shown at Jyväskylä INT show. 14.11.2007 Updates: Simo and Matilda's son Lucas attended Riga Int show and gained the title BaltJW-07! Dixy's daughter Finesse has a new home, her new owners are Michael Pesare ja Maida Connor, Gleanntan Kennels Reg. Thank you Michael for sending me a new photo of Finesse! Vigdis and Saara had their eyes examined yesterday: their eyes were clear showing no signs of hereditary diseases. 03.11.2007 Saara was shown in Lahti group show without any particular success. The results of Finnish Kennel Club's Show Dog of the Year are now ready and Simo placed number 65 on the top show dogs list (all breeds). Well done Simo and let's hope the next year will be better! 28.10.2007  Simo made us proud at Lahti International show: BOB and Group-1! Dixy was Best Bitch-3. A very nice day! 21.10.2007 Saara visited the Retriever Association's Main Specialty, and got just what she deserved: Very Good. What else can you give to a Labrador that has absolutely NO coat? :-) 26.08.2007 The Skye Terrier Club of Finland's Specialty had a quite nice entry with 3 puppies, 23 dogs and 25 bitches. Simo did considerably well placing second in Champion dogs and finally Best Dog-3. Dixy and Matilda got almost identical critiques (!!) and got Excellent in Champion bitches, but did not place. Simo and Matilds's offspring were shown and Lucas was BOS-puppy and Ruby placed second in Best bitch puppy. Well done kids! 18.8.2007 Labrador Club Show had a total entry of 133 Labs. Saara was entered in Open bitch class together with 17 other bitches. She placed 2nd in the class which was a marvellous result as she is just blowing her coat. 04.08.2007 Saara did very well at Turku national show under breed specialist Ms Eeva Rautala. In a field of 22 bitches she was Best Bitch-3 with RES-CAC. At the same time Simo travelled in Lithuania, and gained BOB and championship under Mr Sean Delmar, Ireland. In the Terrier Group Simo made the cut. 31.07.2007 Information about Matilda's planned litter here. 29.07.2007 In Pori International show Saara got her first Very Good with a REALLY bad critique :-). Simo did better, won the Breed and was Group-4. 22.07.2007 A really hot day in Hyvinkää national show. This time it was Dixy's turn to take the Breed, and she also placed in the Terrier Group, being 3rd! Simo was BOS.  (Kuva: Tuula Sorakari) 08.07.2007 A successful day in Juva Int show. Simo won the Terrier Group, and was BEST IN SHOW-4! Dixy was BOS and got her 16th CACIB. Saara got Res-CAC and Res-CACIB.  06.07.2007 Ebony, Finnsky Future with Petwalk, is now GB CH! 24.06.2007 We travelled to Rovaniemi to celebrate Midsummer. Saara was entered in the Rovaniemi Int show, and she gained her first CAC and CACIB and took the Breed! What a day! 10.06.2007 We spent the day in Kotka at Labrador Specialty show. Saara surprised us by placing 3rd Best Bitch with RES-CAC in a field of 66 adult bitches! We were also in kennel Strongline's breeder group that was the best group on the day. 26.05.2007 Simo won BOB and GROUP-2 in Ladies Kennel Club group show in Helsinki.  (Photo copyright Saana Lehtinen) Dixy's kids had a good day too: Selma (Finnsky Fortune) was GROUP-2 in Haugesund, Norway, and Laku (Finnsky Fireball) GROUP-4 in Iisalmi, Finland. Their brother Topi (Finnsky Firestone) finished Championship in Iisalmi. Congratulations to Dixy's super children! 17.05.2007 Saara's puppies are already five months old! 15.05.2007 New pictures of Matilda's kids here. 28.04.2007 In Lahti Int show Simo was BOS while the old girl Dixy took the Breed under breeder-judge Mrs Kirsi Sainio. 18 Skyes were entered.
